I don't think the MSD has something to do with this. Check at your connection to your speed sensor on your tranny. It's right under the TB. When not connected, no cruise, no speedo and normaly the check engine should turn on, at least it does it on my Civic. Hoe this help.

John,
The MSD part number that you need is 8910. It simply T-taps in to the igniter and coil wires to amplify the TACH signal. I have used this on two different LS models... none on GSR models.

HEY would a BTM help alot for sc guys?
from what i kno the BTM retards timing for every pound of boost. that helps alot for turbo guys but with my sc i hit 6lbs instantly so wouldn't setting timing for every pound of boost be a waste ??

Good point on the instant boost but it's not always so instant, it really relates to your RPMs.
Just installed the MSD 6 BTM on my integra and have finally got my timing back to stock (even higher really - 16 BTDC). This has substantailly and very much noticably improved my off the line response, It feels torqueier, but I need to tune it a bit, it may be taking out to much timing at full boost - it's not as much of a rocket as it felt like before, but that might be because it's not bogging at 8 degrees BTDC any more so it's just more gradual. I play with it some more and open a thread about it's real abilities after I've tested it out for a bit.

Allmotor+... ideally, you only want to take out from .5 to .75 degrees of timing per pound of boost. Anything more than this will hurt your top-end performance.
